General conditions
Price of the charter:
The price of the charter for a week begins on Saturday (5:00pm) and ends on Saturday (9:00am), you must spend Friday night in the base harbour.
All prices published include the corresponding taxes (VAT).
Expenses such as fuel, water or mooring costs away from the base harbour are not included, nor other additional services which have not been requested when contracting the charter, such as skipper, cook, assistant, automatic pilot, spinnaker or blister.
Payment:
To book the charter you must make a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the charter.
In the event we do not receive the payment for the booking, we will automatically cancel it leaving the yacht available again for a new booking.
To make the final payment for the charter, the rest of the payment must be done maximum four weeks before the start of the charter.
If the charter is requested less than four weeks before the charter begins, the payment will be made for the total amount of the charter and must be received within a maximum of five days after the confirmation of the booking.
Cancellations:
Each base establishes its own procedures and expenses for the cancellation of a charter, but generally (and not binding) we can inform you that:
- Cancellations 45 days before of the beginning of the charter: 10% charge
- Cancellations between 45 and 30 days before the beginning of the charter: 50% charge
- Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the beginning of the charter: 75% charge
- Cancellations between 14 and 1 day before the beginning of the charter: 100% charge
Extras:
- Spinnaker: between €40 and €100 per week
- Skipper: between €80 and €150 daily
- Outboard motor: between €50 and €100 per week
These prices are only estimates, please confirm when you make the reservation.
Deposit:
When you sign the contract and you take the boat, a deposit is requested to guarantee any damage due to misuse or collision.
You can pay the deposit with credit card or cash when you arrive at the harbour where you begin the charter.
The deposit will be returned after checking the boat when you leave it in the harbour.
Duties of the charterer:
In case you do not contract a skipper, you must prove that you are qualified to drive a boat with any type of valid nautical qualification.
