Marmaris is a port city and tourist destination on the Mediterranean coast, located in southwest Turkey, in the province of Muğla.
Little remains of the fishing village that Marmaris was just a few decades ago but still retains its charm thanks to its unique location between two intersecting set of mountains by the sea. It has two major marinas and several smaller ones.
Day 2: Ekincik - Göbün (30.32 nm)
Ekincik a conservation area of unspoilt nature of extraordinary beauty. With few people, nice and quiet, with a nice little beach nearby. The coast road is beautiful and is also a good starting point for boat trips and hikes. Ekincik is located in south-western Turkey in a quiet bay surrounded by hills. Day 3: Göbün - Fethiye (13.88 nm)
Gobun Cove, the first cove on the bay of Fethiye, starting from the south, you can get under way between the mainland and the Isle of Karaburun Domuz. From the direction of Gocek is the first cove.
Walking uphill from the creek at the top you can see the end of the bay of Fethiye. Here in this bay you can find delicious dishes prepared with fresh fish, chicken and lamb, raised here.
Day 4: Fethiye - Ekincik (36.64 nm)
The fortress stands where the city was first founded and the existing walls are from the 11th Century. At same places, portions of walls from the Roman period can be seen. The fortress was repaired by the Rhodesian Knights during the 15th Century and was used as a naval base.
Day 5: Ekincik - Kumlubük (16.01 nm)
Ekincik is a small but very pretty bay lined with pine trees and is a popular stop with all boats doing the run from Marmaris to Gocek or Fethiye.
The Dalyan River Ekincik is also the ideal place for those based on a yacht to visit Dalyan and the ruins of Caunos.
Day 6: Kumlubük - Marmaris (6.94 nm)
The name means Sandy Bay and has one of the largest stretches of beach on the peninsula. in summer, there are always plenty of space on the beach. The waters are clean and clear.
Day 7: Marmaris
